On Learning the Law...

What a strange thing is this process of learning the law. Having studied graduate education, and business, I have never seen a learning process like that in law school where:

1. All the students use laptops (good) but just Microsoft word to take notes (is this the best product to use for this purpose?). They use chat software to talk with one another in class (good if it is about what is going on in class, bad if not?)

2. Getting into the right law school is supposedly key to learning the law but just as key is using commercial outlines and trusting in Kaplan, Princeton review, Bar/Bari, none of which are connected to your law school. As we speak Bar/Bari is being sued for price fixing. What kind of lesson does that teach?
